Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – Agung Podomoro has strengthened its collaboration with banks and agents through the Podomoro Harmony Award 2025, held on February 28, 2025, at Senayan City Mall, Jakarta. This inaugural event served as a platform for Agung Podomoro to recognize and reinforce partnerships with banks and agents — the frontline allies in driving the national property industry forward.

President Director of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN), Bacelius Ruru, emphasized the vital role banks and agents have played in the company's business chain for over 55 years. “Banks and agents have navigated the ups and downs of the national property industry alongside us, ensuring its resilience to this day,” said Ruru in an official statement in Jakarta on Friday (28/2).

For decades, Home Ownership Loans (KPR) and Apartment Ownership Loans (KPA) have been the mainstay for people purchasing property. According to Bank Indonesia's Money Supply data, property loan disbursements reached IDR 1,410.8 trillion in January 2025, with KPR and KPA contributing IDR 796.6 trillion (56.5%).

Ruru highlighted the crucial role of banks and agents in this dominance. Banks offer various conveniences and consumer-friendly facilities, while agents work closely with financial institutions and directly engage with clients to educate them about property ownership.

Government fiscal stimuli and Bank Indonesia's monetary easing have also boosted property demand. Incentives like the Government-Borne Value Added Tax (PPN-DTP), plans to eliminate the Land and Building Rights Acquisition Duty (BPHTB), and the low-interest rate era have revitalized the property sector post-pandemic.

Ruru remains optimistic that the property sector will continue to grow and contribute significantly to the national economy, provided strategic collaborations and supportive stimuli persist. “Experts predict property sales will grow by over 2% in 2025, which is a realistic projection. That’s why we are here today — to solidify our collaboration with banks and agents, who have long been the driving force behind Indonesia’s property industry,” Ruru stated.

The Podomoro Harmony Award 2025 marks the first awards ceremony in Agung Podomoro’s 55-year history of property development. This event underscores the company’s commitment to positively impacting the economy by providing high-quality properties. Ruru hopes that the cooperation with banks and agents will strengthen and continue to flourish.
