Construction of Flyover & Pedestrian Bridge at Tenjo Station Begins, Completion Scheduled for December 2024

Construction of the Tenjo Flyover, located precisely in the area of Tenjo Station, Bogor Regency, West Java, has officially commenced. The groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which is expected to address congestion issues at the level crossing of Tenjo Station, was carried out directly by the Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, on Saturday (30/3/2024). The construction of the Tenjo Flyover is a collaboration between the Central Government, the Bogor Regency Government, and the private sector, carried out by PT Mitra Abadi Utama, a subsidiary of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk. (APLN).

"This is certainly a good initiative; the safety aspect of the community can be served well because there will be no level crossings," said Budi in his remarks. To facilitate public access, Budi also requested that APLN provide feeder vehicles to Tenjo Station and Tigaraksa Station. At the same event, the President Director of APLN, Bacelius Ruru, mentioned that they have allocated a maximum budget of Rp 50 billion for this project.

"We hope that this construction can be completed within a maximum of one year, but hopefully, it can be finished in the shortest time possible," he said. For your information, the Tenjo Flyover will connect Kota Podomoro Tenjo with Tigaraksa Station, with a bridge length of 270 meters and a height of 7 meters. The work undertaken by APLN also includes the extension of Tigaraksa Station to the gates of Kota Podomoro Tenjo. The project is carried out as part of APLN's efforts to develop Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in the Kota Podomoro Tenjo area, as well as a manifestation of APLN's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
