Support for Infrastructure Development and Accessibility In Karawang: Agung Podomoro Builds Parkland Bridge

Karawang, August 15, 2023 – Parkland Podomoro Karawang, a part of PT Agung Podomoro Land (Tbk), continues its commitment to sustainable property development and contributing to economic growth. The latest project by Parkland Podomoro is the construction of a connecting bridge providing access to various important areas in Karawang, West Java. The construction was marked by the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Parkland Bridge Karawang on Tuesday (15/8).

The President Director of PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk, Bacelius Ruru, stated that Parkland Podomoro Karawang, as one of Agung Podomoro Group's masterpieces, is highly committed to delivering leading, quality, and sustainable properties. He emphasized that the Groundbreaking of Parkland Bridge signifies the developer's dedication to continuously developing the area, creating new breakthroughs, and adding value to all stakeholders, especially the Karawang community.

There are plans to build three bridges in the area, surrounded by the Citarum River. The Parkland Bridge, with a length of approximately 100 meters and a width of 25 meters, will serve as the main gateway to the Parkland Podomoro area. Meanwhile, the other two bridges will connect Parkland Podomoro to Alun-alun Karawang and the Grand Taruma Karawang residential area. The construction of these bridges is expected to be completed by mid-2024.

The presence of these bridges is expected to provide strategic access for future residents and businesses, given that Parkland Podomoro Karawang is set to become a new destination city. The Groundbreaking of Parkland Bridge, conducted today, also marks the beginning of the development of Parkland Podomoro Karawang.

As known, the region's robust economic growth in Karawang is reflected in the increasing investment realization year after year. The Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency (DPMPTSP) of Karawang Regency, West Java, recorded an investment realization of Rp 22.36 trillion in the first half of 2023.
